Sonic Paradox are a 1970's style prog rock band Started in 2024 by John Hodgson, veteran of bands such as Blitzkrieg Bop, Basczax, Makaton Chat & The Gynaecologists, Sonic Paradox emulate classic 1970's prog bands such as genesis, Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull and PFM. With fantastic lyrical themes, extended guitar, synth & flute solos, their music also incorporates elements of psych, jazz fusion, folk rock and even a little post punk indie.

In 1968 we played at a big club on Long Island, My Fathers Place. In 1966, I saw The Rolling Stones at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in New York. 1966 I recorded my
