i dont know anything about your computer technique and how you did the recording..is it played or somehow built at the PC ? but your Prelude has some musically mistakes, 1. Lento - the end is to slow, there is no ritardando written 2. Agitato - the beginning is to slow, the cadenz - the accents in the left are not clear 3. Tempo 1 _ the accords are not together, it´s not written like that, the jumps in bars 7 and 9 are to slow i just exercise the same prelude and will publish it in a few days ( i hope ) , would be very kind of you to criticize it as well, i will play it on a YAMAHA Grand Touch directly to the lap as a wav file.

Hi Rob, I just visit 4 including this page and discover amazing work of yours. It surprises me to know there's an artist who dips into different genres of music. You not only play piano, but guitar too. I listened to one of your latin track and classical piano- they were amazing! Like 'Takin care of business'-listened twice, nice singing. Well done! Going to listen couple of more track and leave hot votes!! Wish u the best in what u do! Lipsy

Hey Rob, Thanks for your feedback. The rendered score on my page now was actually just done on my laptop with the GPO in Finale. I'll let you know when I post the version rendered from GS3. In the meantime, I'd love to do something collaborative with you-keep me posted! Kev

Rob, Loved, loved, loved "I Believe in Freedom". You really had something to say there. I think it's great that there are artists here at home who are trying to share their talents with our boys over in Iraq. I've got a few friends over there fighting for our way of life and your piece really hit home. The ending was something that really got me. You really want us to need that resolution that doesn't come-sort of like how everyone here in the states seems to think about the war; we have no idea what's going to happen next.

Rob, Great job on the Hunt! Both you and Luke should be proud of such a dynamic piece. How did your collaboration work? The orchestration is very tasteful and your harmonies succinct and sophisticated. Can't wait to hear the rest.

Thanks for coming by again Rob! Looking forward to hearing that new orchestral piece you mentioned. Did you investigate Gigastudio any further? The more I realize it can do, the more I like it!

Hey Rob, Just checking to see how you're getting along here. The piano material you've put on here is quite impressive-you should try finding a piano arrangement of Faure's "Pavane" (I prefer it over the Ravel myself and there's a great recording somewhere of the Boston Pops playing it with John Williams conducting). I'm glad to see I'm not the only person in their twenties who appreciates more than modern styles of composition. Feel free to check out some of the newer material I've posted here at soundclick if you have the chance. Kev

Ah, that's just about it, I think.. I can hear the organ much clearer now. Reverb is panning very well.. I think it sounds warmer than the previous one, but it isn't too warm. Just right. :| The new piano piece is a virtual? I thought I misread it when I listened.. It's a winner for sure. The reverb hi-freq cutoff is just right, sounds crisp and clean. The bass sounds alive without getting muddy. What reverb were these pieces done with? You're more than welcome for the "advice", the pleasure is mine. We should try to collaborate on something.. How are you getting along with GigaPulse?

Hmm.. The strings sounded so good that I barely even noticed them. I kept getting distracted by the brass. Although, I think you did a really good job with the brass, too.. It just didn't have as much body as I would have liked, especially in the beginning. The final 3:30 to 4:00 was exceptional.. The bass drum tended to overpower the rest of the orchestra in the beginning, but it was well balanced afterwards. I'm assuming by your deskriptions that you have redone the New World Symphony? I'll have to listen to those now. Take care.

Yes, unfortunately I'm having trouble getting the compression I need on my brass channels.. I'm working on it when I have the chance, since I'm also working on a new classical piece. Plus, I also just launched my electronica site and am invloved in some contests. Can't really complain, though. I love it. :) Yes, I did do a bit of EQ work and it's still an ongoing process. But, the GigaPulse reverb sounds great even without any EQ. I mainly have a certain acoustic quality I'm trying to acheive.. I think you did an even better job on dynamics in the final movement.. The strings sound pretty darn good. One change I would make on the production would be to pan the instruments a little less, but pan the reverb out instead. The violin section tends to get a little lost in my opinion. Overall, very excellent! Have you been able to get your VSL strings yet? I can't wait to hear what you do with them.. ________________

Thanks for stopping by, Rob. I'm glad you enjoyed the music. :) Dvorak's "New World" always has a special aura, to me. It's very mysterious yet awe-inspiring, while also being subtle about the whole thing. You nailed the inflections right on.. I could hear the VSL difference really well. Personally, I don't think it quite measures up to Sonic Implants, but they're definitely world-class samples. Again, good to hear from you! Drop by anytime..
