Ok...I am a former member of Mazzey & a guest appearance on Frozen Mist 2 albums (Return to Capcomia 2004 & Sapphiric 2006). The main reason Mazzey ended was because Jamie S. & I could not get together. I lived quite far away from him and money was extremely tight so I had no way of traveling. With money being tight, I decided to become a truck driver. I now have the tools to express my music in a cool, new way. The music I create is a tribute to all the bands I have enjoyed over the years. Yes, my only job is driving truck...music is a hobby (Just as it always has been). So enjoy...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Band/artist history
I started playing guitar around 1987 & started a band in Altus, OK. A 2 man project, Brian Norvell & I (I actually have a few recordings from that era). In 1991 I moved to Berlin Germany (Dad was in the military) where started a few bands & I have some of those recordings also. I moved back to the states in 1994 and met my long time friend & band mate (Jamie Stonge), thus, forming Mazzey. We recorded a whole lot of music and whole a lot of demos from 1994 to 2001. Now, in 2006 I bought a lap-top and started creating music again. The idea of "Rob Frankenstein" was brewing in my head a long time!! I always had the idea of doing a demo called "Diary Of Rob Frank". It's kind of a parody between "Diary Of A Madman" (by Ozzy) & "Diary Of Anne Frank" (by Anne. When I say "parody" it's not "Weird Al" Yankovic "parody". It's really inspiration with my spin on "it". My music will be the same way.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live for my 2 dogs, I play (Via. MP3s) for Jamie Stonge & now everybody that comes to this site!!! I love creating music...It lets me think about something other than the road and the miles I cover everyday.
