Hi. My name is Robert Heathcock. I've been involved in Contemporary Christian Praise and Worship music for quite a few years. I wanted to get some feedback on some songs I've written. My wife and I started leading praise and worship at our home church using tracks that we laid down. I played along with my guitar and we led the congregation in singing. This method worked because the congregtion was small so the tracks made up for band members we did't have. We first used a Technics KN-2000 then we moved up to the Roland VA-7 which is an arranger type keyboard.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, mainly at church but our band recently played at a rehab center for people who have had severe head trauma.

I'm glad to be a part of the change in Church music. I think more emphasis is being put on worshipping God. Sometimes this change in music is tough for some to grasp but look at the changing music styles in the history of the Christian Church. I remember in the '60's I was not allowed to play my guitar for church. Wow, things do change but sometimes we have to be patient.
