Hey Robert! Came by on the recommendation of Tom "Stockwrock" Reisner. Sure glad I did!
I just love Bucket in the Sky. I met the Colonel. It would be a stretch to say I "knew" him, but I'm one of the few privileged to eat at his original diner in Corbin KY, and also his wife Claudia's dinner house in Shelbyville.
Colonel had an LP (remember those?) of young folks all playing gospel music on mandolins. It was called the Colonel's Mandolin Band. (The name was not quite as original as his 11 herbs and spices)...
I think he would definitely declare your newgrass tune finger lickin good!
