This beat is just a snippet, but nonetheless has a great string-laden sample that is perfect to write and flow to. The intro needs some work and maybe a few changeups are needed, but the overall gives a vibe reminiscent to an alchemist style beat.
This page basically contains software based productions created by RJ. My beats are mostly a sample based with some incorporation of other instrumentation and aim to bring real hip hop vibes as opposed to the generic sounds of the genre heard in the mainstream. As a producer, I still feel I am developing my sound and am working hard to make the best music I can at this time.

In terms of hip hop influences, I say my sound incorporates styles associated with producers like Dj Premier, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, RZA, JDilla,Alchemist, No ID and more alternative producers like Madlib and Stoupe. I am also very much influenced by more commercial beat makers such as Kanye, Just Blaze, The Neptunes and Timbaland, aswell as rnb producers Raphael Sadeeq and Babyface.What equipment do you use?
My computer is all the equipment i can afford at the moment (I use fruityloops and Cool Edit). I hope to get an MPC when I have the money to afford one. But as I have learnt, all that matters is the quality of the music, not the equipment that gets you the sound.Contact
