R&B

Rip is the mastermind and CEO behind RiP Records which he created in 1999. That same year he joinced forces with long time friend "PR Thug" in their journey to succeed in the music indsutry. When first starting out in the rap game Rip had no one to turn to but his ambitions and was forced to rely on no one but himself. Over the years Rip has crafted himself as not only a recording artist, but a versatile producer and CEO as well. One thing is also for sure...he is very proud of his hispanic ethnicity and where he's from and represents them both to the fullest! To date Rip has released 3 albums and has done shows with: The Ying Yang Twins, Do or Die, Johnny P, The Legendary Traxster, Public Announcement, Troy Hudson (of the Minnesota Timberwolves), Bizzy Bone, and Coo Coo Cal just to name a few. He has also performed at Eddie & Jobo's B96 Beach Bash 2004 in Mexico. To add to the list he has appeared on Bone Thugs n Harmony Board's Mixtape "Fire n Hype" along with artists such as Twista, Bizzy Bone, and Coo Coo Cal. Rip has also recorded a custom song/remix for the Chicago Bulls which can be heard at home games at the United Center during the 2004-2005 basketball season & has gotten spotlight on Chicago's New Killer B.96 (most listened to station from NY to LA) with an intro song for night personalities 'Stylz & Roman'. With the mentality that "you are only as successful as you are ambitious," Rip plans on making big moves through the music industry in the near future. He hopes to make not only his dreams, but all those of the Rip Records family come true.
