Rick Ryan is the consummate entertainer, performing at Weddings, Receptions, Parties, Corporate Events, Clubs and Restaurants. Working as a Solo Artist, He combines live vocals, guitar, and piano with computer-based backing tracks. The result is a realistic, full-band sound that you have to experience to believe. Band/artist history
Rick began with piano lessons at the age of ten. By the time he got to college, he'd added bass and electric guitar, talents that earned him a scholarship in the college touring ensemble. Rick moved to Nashville in 1985 and began playing everything from dives to country clubs. In 1997, he landed the bass/vocal gig with Stonewall Jackson on the world-famous Grand Ole Opry. Since then, he's performed regularly with Stonewall, including international tours. The reputation Rick developed over the years opened up the opportunity to work with a number of name artists across the country. In addition to working at the Grand Ole Opry, Rick has also backed other name country music artists such as; (Grand Ole Opry) Jack Greene, Jean Shepherd, Little Jimmy Dickens, Billy Walker, George Hamilton IV, Jimmy C. NewMan, Jeannie Seeley, Jim Ed Brown, Helen Cornelius, Ernie Ashworth, Jan Howard, Bobby Bare, Jeannie C. Riley (Harper Valley PTA), Michael Twitty, Stella Parton, Wanda Jackson, Steven Wesley (Tootsies), Christy McDonald (Nashville Star2005), Ken Mellons (Rub a Dub), Leona Williams, Melanie Torres and Dustin Wilkes (Nashville Star2006). Presently, Rick works as a Solo Entertainer and Musician. His One-Man-Band and Acoustic shows reflect the experience and professionalism and are getting rave reviews, everywhere. Rick's main goal is quite simple; "Give the client more than they asked for."
