Hearing Springsteen's Thunder Road in the early eighties inspired me to pick up the guitar ("...and I learned how to make it talk"). Simultaneously, having grown up on country music, I was influenced by the artists and songwriters coming out of Nashville. I began writing songs almost immediately with the goal of having the same emotional impact on listeners that my favorite songs always have on me. It's a never ending quest, I haven't written my best song yet.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do play live. Mostly in my living room, but sometimes in the basement, and every once in a while the bedroom, although my wife doesn't enjoy sharing the bed with my guitar (She told me she wanted to make some beautiful music together?)
