Hearing Springsteen's Thunder Road in the early eighties inspired me to pick up the guitar ('...and I learned how to make it talk'). Simultaneously, having grown up on country music, I was influenced by the artists and songwriters coming out of Nashville. I began writing songs almost immediately with the goal of having the same emotional impact on listeners that my favorite songs always have on me. It's a never ending quest, I haven't written my best song yet.
Bluegrass Hi my name is Toby McClure, I'm a singer songwriter and am currently playing in a bluegrass band called Honeycreek Grass, this song here is a song that I wrote and performed for my daughter on her wedding day.
