I've been writing since the age of 16, mostly accoustic ballads, pop and instrumentals. Started recording stuff when I bought a 4-track tape recorder in 1988. I did quite alot of recording with this limited equipment and progressed to DAW work with Cubase. Now that the limitations have all but dissappeared, I don't have as much time as I did back then...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I belonged to a few school and college bands but haven't played live for many years.

The Police, Prince, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Talk Talk (post 1986), David Sylvian, Peter Gabriel, Foo Fighters, Del Amitri, Radiohead, Beck...there are more
What equipment do you use?
Cubase SX2, Yamaha Guitar and Fretless Bass, Takamine Accoustic, Behringer Tube pre-amp and compressor, various virtual instruments.
