Rhombus was formed in Bristol in late 2002, where they quickly built a solid live reputation being described by Venue Magazine as '...threatening to give Goth Rock a good name...'
In summer 2003 the band relocated to West Yorkshire and recorded their first album 'Rat City'. In a relatively short space of time, Rhombus have built up an impressive gig list including the Limelight in Crewe; The New Roscoe, The Royal Park Cellars and Joseph's Well in Leeds; Fibbers in York; Night & Day and the Roadhouse in Manchester. Other towns played or playing include: Bradford, Bristol, Halifax, Huddersfield, Kingston-upon-Hull, Leek, Leicester, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Nottingham, Sheffield, Stroud and Wakefield. Rat City has been played at night clubs including Carpe Noctum in Bradford and Slimelight in London and is also starting to pick up radio airplay.
The combination of a dynamic stage show, a distinctive sound and well-crafted songs is helping Rhombus to go down extremely well with a surprisingly large mix of people.Have you performed in front of an audience?All the time!
