Derek began playing the guitar at the age of 10. From the hardest of rock to the softest ballads Derek's guitar work has his own special signature unique to him. His experience covers a number of years of live work including rock, R&B, funk and acoustic work. With such a versatile voice like Derek's you will be amazed at how great an instrument it truly is... Musikreativ Studios has captured the many recordings in his library of work which have now been made available through numerous web page venues.
When Derek chooses an artist's previous work he takes special ownership of it in his heart...quite often the work has received sincere compliments by a variety of listeners from young to old !
