My style is a hybrid of soundscape based electronica, both old and modern, with guitar based music (although you will not find guitars in every song!)...its hard to know what style I could call this music...although 'Dark Electronica' is often what I dig.
I do listen to guitar based bands, but I dont think they turn up in my influences to any great extent...and I dont wish to emulate Hendrix as much as I love his music (or anyone for that matter).
Later day Massive Attack is a massive inspiration to me, and the groups 'Coil' and 'Can' have been recent influences.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not at present. Still trying to figure out how I could adapt this music into a live environment.
Your musical influences
Influenced by dark, sometimes avant-garde electronic music- Coil is a recent influence..but also heavily influenced by later day Massive Attack, Portishead and others of their ilk...
Love Hendrix and all the obvious guitar hero's- Jimmy Page etc...but they do not really creep in to my music!What equipment do you use?
Just using soft synths at the moment- Pro52, Crystal etc.
