I have been writing for about 14 years now and in that time I have learned so much about myself as an artist. Songwriting is the key to the soul. Its a way to connect with yourself and those you love and care for. Its also a way to touch those you don't even know by living out your life and your feelings in a song.
That is why I love country music so much.
No other form of music touches so many facets of everyday life like country music does.
I hope you enjoy the songs on my site.
I hope they make you think about where you are, or where you have been or where you want to be in this life.
Always,
Renee
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have sang with a couple bands around the Indy area. Most of the bands I have sang in have been classic rock/rock bands. I've sang Blondie and the pretenders till the cows came home.
Its really hard finding a good country band in the indy area. Mainly my foucus now is on my writing. I feel I am much more gifted in that area. My dream is not to be a major artist, but to make someone one with my songs.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are Vince Gill, Dolly, Martreca Berg, Emmalou Harris, and so many others.
I love all areas of country music, from traditional to contemporary, and I try to incorporate it all into my writing.

Renee,
I am going to be on the American Country Radio Network on August 15th. www.acrn.com on their "keep it or kick it" segment. My song "Honey Do" is going to be played and if the listening audience likes it, then it will be put in the rotation with current songs being played on the radio. Tune in to www.eveningzoo.com on Aug. 15th at 8:45 p.m. to hear the song and vote.
WOW Renee! I am so glad I got my soundclick back and could hear your wonderful songs! Your vocals are really really nice, too! I don't know what song I like the best cause they are all pretty damn good!
