Band/artist history
Refuge Found have been together as a band since February 2003. The original line up saw Jonathan on the drums, however he soon moved to guitar and vocals to be replaced on the drum stool by Jon Extance. At this point the band started to write their own material, and began to gradually gather a fan base in their local area. In March 2004 they released their debut self-titled EP, and launched their website. Refuge Found have played at a number of events in the Shrewsbury area, including a support slot with Superhero.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We have played at Shrewsbury's 'Buttermarket' and supported a big band called Superhero. We have also played at a number of local events.
Your musical influences
Too many names to put in here. Toby and Dan grew up(well sort of) on Oasis, Stereophonics and The Beatles. Now listen to anything on Survivor records. Jonathan's music collection is very varied, but contains stuff like Seafood, Delays and Electric Soft Parade. Jon is well into his punk.
What equipment do you use?
Dan - Gibson SG, Fender deluxe 90
Joage- Epiphone Les Paul Classic, Ibanez V-300, Marshall MG250DFX
Toby - Squier P-bass,Starfire AB-80(accoustic Bass), Ashdown MAG 200
Jon - Olympic by Premier drumkit. Sabian AAX crash, ride, splash and hi-hats. B8 thin crash. Pro-sonix splash. Stagg China, Pearl cowbell and mountable tambourine. Wood block and the mighty psycho bongo.

Keep up the kick ass stuff!
Oops. I mean I haven't heard much of you...
Hullo.
I saw you at the Buttermarket a long time ago. Have heard much of you since, apart from what Mr Roberts has been up to.
I'd like a copy of your CD if I may. I'm on the ShrewsburyDIY as Higgy so you can contact me through that if you wish.
Hope to see you soon. May God bless you in whatever you are doing.
