about 10 years ago i picked up a pen...and a year ago i bought a computer and a mic...my music sounds a lot better with a beat i'd think.

I'd have to credit my ORIGINAL influences as , , and . I have a Peg City style that holds it's own...i don't think i sound like anyone else, but i'll let you be the judge.
What equipment do you use?
A Shure mic, and a PC using the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound control. I make my beats with Hip Hop Ejay 6 and Fruity Loops 4.
