Braaiinnss!! Braaiinnss!!
This is the first zombie metal song. It's very slow, simple and somewhat doomy.

Forever to Hunger For Brains Forever to Hunger For Brains
This song relies more on keyboard than any of the other RVG songs. It makes it sound more like grim, necro, kvlt black metal!

Empty Skulls Empty Skulls
Brett's first musical contribution to the RVG project, this song employs ample use of diminished harmonies and chords... heretofore referred to as "zombie chords"

Feasting On Your Brains Feasting On Your Brains
Greg (of Burning Shadows) called it "zombie metal if Opeth was involved" or something like that. I dunno. I also have heard that it sounds like Slayer and Morbid Angel. I think it sounds like zombie metal.

The Revenant The Revenant
Combining all the elements that have made zombie metal great, this song makes you one with the undead.
Band/artist history
Well I (Tim) was watching a few too many zombie movies in the summer of 2002, and I said to my friend Brett one night, "you know what would be cool?" And thus was born Recently Vacated Graves. After the first three songs, "Braaiinnss!!", "Forever to Hunger For Brains", and "Empty Skulls" it kinda fizzled out. After going to an Opeth concert over the summer of '03 in Philly (3 hours away), someone had overheard me talking to someone else about zombie metal and said something along the lines of "You're that BRAAIIINNSS guy??" After I had realized the zombie word had spread, I decided then and there to make a full length zombie album. The matter of when was different. After getting a radio show at UMBC, I thought it would be cool to debut some brand new zombie metal on the Halloween edition of the show. So, I wrote one new song. Inspired by my own genius, I quickly made another. When I'm inspired again, I'll be recording the rest of the full-length. ...Now about that zombie tour....

I like it a lot. You have a real original catchy sound. You know that's what the world is looking for. If you get a chance, check out my band and give me an honest opinion.
Its great to finally see a band represent the zombies in society!
Good luck zombie revolutionaries!
Hail to all! Welcome to the brand new RVG site!
