Rcurtis Fantpayne is a native of Seattle, WA. As a youth Rcurtis fell in love with music! He was heavily influenced by the music of jazz greats such as Billie Holiday. Also soul hits from the 70's. In his adulthood, Rcurtis is drawn to soul, neo soul, r&b, and even rap. Rcurtis was largely influenced by his grandfather, Stanley Payne, who played Tenor Sax for Billie Holiday, during the recording of Strange Fruit and several other selections during the Swing Era.
