RAZORGRINDER IS : 1) Heavy metal with thrash, black, and industial influences. 2) Dedicated to making totally original music that is well thought out with lyrics that are intelligent and thought provoking. 3) A project born of one man's need to make baddass metal while purging his views on life , societies misguidings , political misleadings and entrapment, and social and systematic downfalls, while also creating works of fiction with dark elements. 4) Creating metal music without a certain "label"or "category" to fit into, but to meld many influences and come out with something that can stand on it's own. 5) A lean , mean , metal shredding machine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Band/artist history
I just basically have jammed with and wrote with local musicians , some of which have had some kind of local and internet success.
My friends and cowriters have been tearing up the online music charts and have opened for bigger band like Six feet under,Bile, and Dying fetus.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play wherever the hell i can.
Your musical influences
Ive been into music since i was very young. My father listened to Zep,Aerosmith, and heavy 70's bands like that.I grew up listening to 80's metal.Got off on the grunge thing for a few minutes, and listen to death, black, and other forms of metal mostly anymore.Thash is is also a HUGE influence,as well as industrial.
My biggest influences would be Slayer,Testament,Dimmu Borgir,Alice in chains,Jimi Hendrix,NIN,Ministry,Lamb of god,Morbid angel,Cannibal corpse,Jim Morrisson lyrically,Randy Rhodes,Zakk Wylde,Kiss,Sepultura,Black sabbath and too many others to mention.
And dont forget....Dimebag Darrell
