Ray Kosmische is a musical project by Jai Knight.
I started out recording experimental sound collages using a radio and tape overdubs.
As I continued I was influenced by albums like Chill Out and Space by The KLF to create longer "ambient" soundscapes.
I now record with other musicians as well as solo.
I'm more into using the studio to create and have no plans to perform live.
If I did play live, it would probably be an experimental approach.
The idea of working with some kind of performance artist is appealing.
City scenes, 2000AD comic, books, TV, films, 60's psychedelic pop, 70's German electronic music, 90's shoegaze & ambient, impressionist period music, drone music.
