A founding member of Philadelphia's Rolling Hayseeds, Johnson has performed with talents such as Bag of Hammers, the Knife and Fork Band, and Cheri Knight. Originally a drummer, he has expanded into the role of lead guitarist for Del Pez, before branching out to play most of the instruments (bass, drums, keyboards, guitars, mandolin, banjo etc.) on his first self-produced recording of all original material
