Its just me on vocals and guitar and I perform acoustic/folk songs. They are all original material that I started writing when I was 13 but I do some covers too. I also play electric guitar, bass guitar and tenor saxophone.
Band/artist history
I started playing guitar when i was 9. I used to attend Towcester Rock School where i was in and out of bands for 5 or 6 years. I began writing songs when i was 13 and have been writing ever since.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I have done loads of gigs with my old band but at the moment i am concentrating on college. Had a big gig 29/04/2005 with Ben Waters and his band and Roland Chadwick (www.benwaters.com www.rolandchadwick.com)
Your musical influences
Kate Rusby. Alanis Morissette. Bonnie Raitt. Sheryl Crow. John Mayer and Elliott Smith. I love Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday and the like but they don't influence me. I am a big smooth jazz and blues fan too.
What equipment do you use?
Marshall AVT100, Digitech RP100 FX Pedal, Fender Strat, Fender 12 String, Tanglewood Electro Acoustic, Epiphone Acoustic and an Admira Classical Guitar.
