My group is just beginning to sctratch the surface. We dont reall have much to show for because we just starting to get acquainted with each other.Have you performed in front of an audience?I had a few cuts played in the club with my squad, Murdah Squad. As far as the solo thing, I've recently decided to put the mic down so I can focus on this production thing.
Your musical influences
I dont listen to other artist enough for them to influence me. I do that purposely so I can take music into my own hands. The last thing you want is for someone elses style to come out in your music. My influence is the struggle because for most Black men, talent is the only way out.What equipment do you use?
I use the Korg Triton Studio (61 key). I also use the Ensoniq MR-61. They are both 16 track sequencer workstations. Ensoniq might be a little old for all you people out there that know what it is, but I just used it for strings and those crazy 808 sounds. Dont get it messed up though. The equipment I named isnt the only equipment I know how to operate, its just the only equipment I have access to. Its still top of the line production equipment though.Anything else?
Beats $100-500
Something can be worked out if you nice but you aint got $300-400 for a beat. Also, I dont mind working with other producers or artist, but dont come at me expecting me do get down with you unless you talking business.Contact
