Qtyme then turned to local DJ Fonz whose agenda was to polish Qtymes talent into a money making powerhouse. With his debut single Infatuated being played on hot 103.9 Qtyme felt like his music could be his way out of the streets. Meeting a woman that kept him level headed Qtyme had a son at the tinder age of 19. Due to comparisons of Jay Z and Fabolous Qtyme realized he needed his own sound.
