Do My Thing Do My Thing

Get Up Get Up
The HOTTEST anthem to hit the spot in 2006. I had ppl gettin' up from the very first time I played this, and it's been goin' on since!

U Not Like Me U Not Like Me
Ft. Raskal and Phaytal HOT song where I was really able to throw down what I had in the booth. Possible one of the sickest songs I've ever recorded.

Growing up, Pyro, real name: Garrett Raffanelli, was a natural performer. "I always knew I wanted to be famous," says the rapper, "But it was just a matter of how I was going to get myself there." With his father constantly on the road doing shows, Pyro began to see music as a lifestyle he was comfortable with. At the age of 9, he began writing songs of his own, influenced by the young acts that were becoming popular in hip-hop at the time. When he was 11, he branched out even father, not only as a rapper, but as a producer as well, creating instrumentals for his material.
It wasnt until he was 14 before Pyro began to get serious about doing something with the music he was creating. With the help of his father, his friends, and the variety of music sites he was featured on, he was able to become a smash with the locals before he even did any live shows. It wasnt long before other artists began taking notice of the young rappers talent. Local underground label, Xtreme Dream Entertainment took an immediate liking to his style. A couple of meetings between them landed Pyro a spot on their newest mixtape and also gave him a chance to produce a few other projects they had in the works. He was definately on his way, and he knew it.
With his name spreading quickly through the streets, Pyro was ready to take his career even further. In the summer of 2005, he teamed up with Raskal of 3000 Entertainment to begin work on his debut LP. The Spark, due for release in 2006, is the result of many years of tweaking his style to please both the gangs of the underground and also a more mainstream audience. As he gets more and more going for him, he continues to devote countless hours into doing what he loves to do. "Hip hop is my life, but bein' truely great is a lot of hard work. For every song I write, 1 in 10 of those actually make it past the first few lines. 1 in 30 of those make it past the first verse. 1 in 70 of those actually make it to the studio. But when you truely love what you do, numbers don't matter."
With so much effort and devotion, you just know Pyro is headed for true greatness. While his dream continues to motivate him, his talent keeps people coming back for more. Watch out, because once youve sparked this flame, theres nothing that'll be able to put him out!
