With those kind of comments surely the music does the talking but as Prone has had over twenty two years in the game we must give you a little low-down

PRONE is an all round DJ , PRODUCER , MUSICIAN, B.BOY, GRAFF WRITER.. Keeping true to the elements of the Hip Hop culture. Creating new music using traditional methods. Prone hasn't fallen foul of much of todays RnB fused Rap Music sanitised with silky synths, weak beats & no flow MC's. He only works with the best to bring you the best possible production.. Prone been true to the game since 1983 as a first generation UK B.boy, as a busy DJ & radio show host Prone has always got his finger on the pulse.

Since Prone’s humble beginnings creating cassette tape break loops back in 1983, he has witnessed many transformations and trends over the years in the Hip Hop scene.

B.Boy, Graff Artist, DJ and Producer Prone has always remained true to the game contributing to a scene which has been commercially misrepresented and exploited in recent years.

Those of you that frequent key underground Hip Hop events in the UK will be very familiar with the name PRONE. Every year Prone plays his residency at the legendary DEDBEAT WEEKENDER (which he used to co-organise) and the popular annual B.Boy / B.Girl competition BATTLE JAM.

PRONE employs traditional method’s to create NEW music and hasn’t fallen foul of weak drum machines and silky synth’s that sanitise much of today’s RnB fused Hip Hop.

As an active club and radio DJ, Prone is very much in touch with what is happening now in the underground Hip Hop scene to which his contributions have been instrumental. In 1998 PRONE was penned as the man who discovered KILLA KELA (SONY / BMG), a then punter who later showcased at his legendary club night ‘The Breaks’ and now tours the world.

In PRONE’S DJ Career he has been lucky enough to work with the likes of JURASSIC 5, SOULS OF MISCHIEF, BIZ MARKIE, DOUGIE FRESH, PHARSYDE, TY, ROOTS MANUVA, SUGARHILL GANG, JERU, ROY AYERS, GWEN McCRAE, AMP FIDDLER, TOM BROWN and many many more.

PRONE present’s his own weekly radio show "SCRATCH N SNIFF" on www.globalfunkradio.com broadcasting 8-10pm (GMT) Thursday’s. Recently PRONE also presented ‘PRONE’S B.BOY DOCUMENT’ on BOUNCE 101.4FM which has also been a huge success. In 2003 PRONE was asked to compile an old school breaks compilation for SECOND TO NONE records titled ‘PRONE BREAKS VOLUME 1’, this successful record is still selling in the shops providing a useful tool for Turtablist’s & Breaks DJ’S worldwide.

PRONE has been producing music for many years now but until recently has kept it to himself as a very personal passion. As a producer and artist PRONE will be working with an array vocalist’s and Emcee’s from the around the world..

This Transatlantic project features U.S emcees ‘MR RATH’ of ‘SUBKREW’ and ‘PARADOXX’ (a.k.a SKILLZ FERGUSON) who has previously worked with none other than ‘EDAN’. PARADOXX and MR RATH were recently featured on “Raw Flaw MC’s-Steppin Up” LP on Rough Acoustic Records. Be sure to check out both Subkrew & Rawflaw MC's on soundclick!!

PRONE’s varied three track CD has been tried & tested in the clubs, radio and magazines, so far the results have been phenomenal.

As a DJ I play a live show every Thursday 8-10pm GMT (UK time) on www.globalfunkradio.com .I love playing the Internet as I can play whatever I want & there is no playlist. As for other DJing I get various bookings all over the UK ... and have yearly resident spots at 'Battle Jam' (a top UK b.boy battle event)& the legendary 'Dedbeat Weekender'. I only do the good shows these days heh heh..
