A nice TripHop venture from Prof, some great guitar samples that carry some eerie samples and a very trimmed-down beat that rolls out in the chorus. Good vocal edits, seductive tone.

Band/artist history
Profit and Caustik have over fifteen years of combined experience in the Drum n Bass and Hip-Hop community. They have been staple deejays in the Saint Louis and Chicago scenes for years, host a weekly clubnite (www.gogeishago.com) in its second year, and host a weekly radio show and webcast (www.kwur.com) in its third year. As part of the Dedication Crew, Profit and Caustik have expanded their skills over the last two years of sophisticated production. Profit and Caustik began producing using DOS trackers in early '96, and have since upgraded to a Mac G4 with Cubase and Reason2 platforms, numerous mods and plugins, and several MIDI instruments. They have also blown up their share of 909's, 808's, Prophecies, and 303's. The years go by, and the equiptment keeps stacking up. Profit and Caustik bring a true Drum n Bass sensibility to the table, producing anything from vocal jazzy choons, to hard tech beats, to amen rinses, and the sounds of the dub. Their variety and mastery makes their library and eclectic and refined body of music. Always on top of the newest releases as DJ's, their sound is as breaking-edge as can be. Nothing stale, nothing predictable. This is real Drum n Bass, for the TRUE HEADS. Also, check out Profit's Hip-Hop beats. He is involved deeply in the STL Hip-Hop scene, producing tracks for Bits n Pieces, The Committee, and Space.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Profit and Caustik play live at least once a week in their hometown of STL. Their clubnite: Dedication @ Club Lo. Their radio show: Weird Science on KWUR 90.3fm. And numerous one-offs and guest appearances at anything from art gallery openings to in-store appearances. Special moments: Profit smashed a good portion of his records on the turntables @ Night of The Angels in 1998, in Chicago. The mixer went out in the middle of his set, and he began destroying vinyl and tossing it to the seething crowd.
