David Prescott is an award winning musician, producer and engineer. Playing music his entire life, he started on horns and studied music in college. My roots are in jazz; Miles, Coltrane, Monk, Art Blakey, Bill Evens are the first to come to mind. Tower of Power, Ohio Players, Earth, Wind & Fire were also early influencers in my musical styling. I also pull from my rock roots from bands such as Tool, System of a Down, Korn, and Nine Inch NailsWhat equipment do you use?
I work out of my own commercial studio located near Baltimore and Washington DC. Prescott Studios is a full recording studio where we run Pro Tools HD, and have an amazing selection of preamps and microphones.
