David Prescott is an award winning musician, producer and engineer. Playing music his entire life, he started on horns and studied music in college. Prescott is an educated musician and pulls for many styles when creating beatz and instrumentals. His sound is fresh and new while totally being in the pocket.
Prescott plays a variety of instruments when creating beats and has used the following: acoustic piano, acoustic drums, Native Instruments Maschine, and Komplete, Novation Ultra Nova, trombone, trumpet and various saxophones, melodica, acoustic guitar and a huge library of soft synths and samples.

David has been creating beats for clients for about the last eight years. It's is only now where he is making them available to the public.
Your musical influences
My roots are in jazz; Miles, Coltrane, Monk, Art Blakey, Bill Evens are the first to come to mind. Tower of Power, Ohio Players, Earth, Wind & Fire were also early influencers in my musical styling. I also pull from my rock roots from bands such as Tool, System of a Down, Korn, and Nine Inch Nails
What equipment do you use?
I work out of my own commercial studio located near Baltimore and Washington DC. Prescott Studios is a full recording studio where we run Pro Tools HD, and have an amazing selection of preamps and microphones.
