Potentium is an experimental/ambient music project from the UK with various metal influences and taking inspiration from all kinds of Science Fiction and Fantasy universes.
Band/artist history
Potentium began in 2005 with the recording of "Life Day" and an early version of "Balance/Redemption." These songs were left-overs from an earlier project that never saw fruition before it fell apart. At the beginning of 2006, more material had been written in Midi format, and was all later recorded in an amateur manner, and the first demo "Volume I - The Evocation" was the outcome. After doing nothing with the first demo, a second was recorded nearly straight after using some song ideas thought of but not used in Volume I. "Volume II - Alchemy" is a conceptual demo based around the art of Sith Alchemy. It was recorded in the same manner as the first demo, but in a more controlled environment. A third demo, Volume III, is currently being recorded and is another concept demo. This demo will feature more complex keyboard elements than the previous two and not as much concentration on guitar work.
