Born from the realms of Scribe Tribe Syndicate, I've taken the steez of the group and formed it into my upcoming LP "Gravel'd Roads." This page is dedicated to mixtape tracks, or shit we popped off in the studio. Either way most of its bangin, so listen up. Music is derived from a cultured prespective of Life, Love, skill and creed. Always hoping to bring hiphop to the elevated level in which it should be precieved.
Band/artist history
Man o man..... Scribe tribe Syndicate (scribetribesyndicate.com) started in 1998, and has played a huge roll in internet emcee'n. The whole Idea was to maintain a collective of the best writters/emcee's on the net. Pretty soon it became huge and everyone on any major board knew of the name. It was all about the music... and that was the point. A group of amazingly talented Emcee's formed a group - apart from race, creed, upbringing, ect. We hope to lead as an example to the world, We can learn from our differences.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Word... Done a couple shows in Seattle and im easy to find wednesday and saturday nights at open mics at the B-side. Once the new album releases, Me and my Boy St. Cule are gonna jump on the show circut and hopefully bring Spokane/CDA some real hiphop music
Your musical influences
Wow... this could be a long list. All the people who first got me started. First started with Dre,Eazy,NWA, the hardcore feel that was out in my youth. Eventualy went toward underground ish like spice 1, Celly cel. And eventually got to the music I listen to now! Nas, Immortal Tech, Pharoahe Monch, Wu tang,Talib and MosDef, eminem, Taskforce, MF doom ect.
What equipment do you use?
Numark 1800 turntables, Eurotrack mx602a mixer, AKG D-880 condenser mic, Yamaha PF-85 keyboard. Variety of software: Cooledit pro, Fruityloops, Goldwave, music studio 2004.
Anything else?
