Pocket Billiards are a 7-piece ska-punk or punk-ska (whatever way you see it) band from Belfast. We have been about since 2000/2001. We originally started as a six piece but since then members have come and gone and we now have a line-up of drums, bass, guitar/vocals x2 trumpet x2 and sax.Our music is a micture of melodic ska, reggae and dub with fast punky riffs and screamy bits. We have supported some good bands in the past such as: the mad caddies, the selector, agnostic front, fleas and lice, lightyear, the slackers, total chaos , left over crack and played at the warzone fest. We currently only have one old demo which is quite poppy punk up-beat ska. Our sound has become a lot heavier and faster since that first demo and we are recording an EP in the summer of '04. We are also touring in the month of July and hopefully sortin out the website.Have you performed in front of an audience?play live mainly in Northern Ireland but are startin to travel a bit further a field. Best gig was supporting the selector and supporting the mad caddies for our second ever gig (not that we were particularly good that time tho!)
