Take your shoes off and set a spell, whilst you listen to some lay'd back rock/blues with a country twang.
I've been playing guitar since 1948.
In grammar school I spent 6 years singing in a 4 part J S Bach chorale choir. When I was eight I bought my first guitar and started teaching myself. Through the years I've added bass, lap and pedal steel as well as keyboards to the list of instruments played.
Each band I've played in has enriched my musical palette and has added fuel to my musical vision.
This is a solo effort right now, although I would like to move out of the studio and do some live performances again in the future.
Jazz and swing, early rock and R&B, Hank Wiiliams and Rockabilly, bluegrass, the Bakersfield sound, blues and gospel. as well as progressive rock all add to the mix. Really anything that I've ever heard is probably unconsciously added to the overall feel and texture. I've been going to dead shows since the late 60's and l think this is quite dominant.
