Gato is a product of da streetz. Having lived on his own since 14, when his parents threw him out for listening to, what they considered to be too hardcore music. (NWA, Proper Dos, etc.) Knowing that rap was the only musical outlet that had the same intensity and honesty as he did, he eventually turned to it as a lifestyle and career. He started out in blunt ciphers and freestyle battles for the experience. After gaining a name in these circles he decided, with some help from some homies, to start writing his lyrics down, and recording. He started the group PMC with his brother Mena$e. After moving to Las Vegas he met up with Bad Boy, then with Clika 1, who liked PMCs demo and he took them into the studio with him. Ever since then Gato has been focused like a triple beam. Along with Mena$e they have set up, performed, and collaborated some true soon to be classic songs and shows. Theyve collaborated with just about anyone whos anyone in the Sin City hip hop scene, as well as Too Short, Goldie Loc, Lil Uno Romero, Scoopdeville, JayTee, Mr. Shadow, and more. Gato is also a very outspoken person for Latino equality, in music and life, which is an obvious problem that always gets pushed under the rug.
Remember, being brown is not a black and white issue.
Mena$e first hit the game in the mid 90s alongside with his brother Gato forming PMC entertainment. After a couple years of writing lyrics they moved into making it a career, and a life. Along the way Mena$e was introduced to producing his own tracks and being around the music at all times Gato and Mena$e are a constant at shows concerts studios and any hip-hop event conference ect. Through out the years he has grown with the music and shaped a unique style, from bouncing around the west coast living city to city to having a baby and girl but still with the music, the life.
Mena$e has and will always spit nothing but raw emotion on a track, like it or hate it its all real. Pmc can be summened up in one word Unique and just the right combination to provide a rugid and smooth hip-hop soundHave you performed in front of an audience?All the time and all over!
