PIRRI is a "solo project with a band name" by Heavy Metal guitarist Chris Pirri. The music can best be described as a combination of the melodic sounds of “Old School” Metal and the Bone-Shattering Heaviness of Modern-Day Metal. The "Band that isn't a Band" also features Pete Swann of Attitude Productions on drum machine/bass/and various studio chores with Dave La Fame and Jason Orton both handling vocals.
Band/artist history
After the last band I was in I decided to start working on a solo project. I teamed up with my friend Pete Swann who owns his own studio studio and is brilliant at recording songs and began working on putting together a CD. I asked Jason and Dave to come down and sing on some of the material and the rest, as they say, is histroy.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No live gigs yet...but in the future I hope to do some, a CD release party at least.
Your musical influences
Most of my influences are old school Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Van Halen, KISS, Dio, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth however there are newer bands such as Cradle Of Filth who I also listen to for inspiration.
