Band/artist history
Phoenix Rain is a concept. What would happen if you took music... made it all about music? Taking the best of our musical ancestors and made them rise from the ashes. Then add the waters of emotion. This was the recipe Erin Rain took to the studio. All songs were written by Erin Rain and Jennifer McConnell. Phoenix Rain would need to find the right blend in the studio to bring the songs to life. Erin called Trent Bell (Flaming Lips, Starlight Mints) to produce the CD and to bring in the people who could pull off the vision she always had. ï Itïs all about the music, the songs, and the emotion.ï With Erin Rain on vocals, Jennifer McConnell on 6 and 12 string guitars, Kevin Webb- lead guitar and slide guitar, Dave Spindle (from The Rounders) - Bass, Rob ïDr. Rockï Martin (from the Sugar Free All-Stars) - drums, and Josh Cobb on backing vocals,had all captured the music, the songs, and the emotion for the upcoming debut release from Phoenix Rain titled ïIllusionsï
