Peter Chapman
re-recorded vocal, missing bit of guitar solo inserted, more balanced ending
It's a LOVE song................................ A Soundroom production
It's about the uncertainty of an early date. I never actually waited at a station or an airport for a date.
It's a little bit tongue-in-cheek based on some of the things I would have liked to have done myself in a 'perfect' relationship but I had an idea it might work from the opposite angle! You decide.
A bit of Indie pop, Morrissey has been mentioned (not by me!). Not quite the final mix - but the final mix didn't include my backing vocals! (And it's not on my laptop so I thought I'd post this one). A Soundroom production (many thanks to John).
A demo for a demo, this version performed by (then) 14 year-old MC and accompanied on keys by the marvellous Joan.
'Stripped' because the rhythm guitar was taken out. It's the only version with me rapping! It's like a second or third cut but the final cut is not on this page.
I decided to put this in Blues electric, although the first cut went into Rock. That version won me my first Soundclick 'award' - top 100 song, also my first ever music award of any kind! The follow-up is that this version has now made the top 100!
Unmixed edit with a backing vocal which 'disappeared' in final mix.
A Beatles classic originally done by the Shirelles, also a classic! This is our attempt to recreate the mood of both versions, one English, one American. I think that's just about right.
I wrote this whilst listening to Rod's instrumental version
It's not about an apple! A Soundroom production
There will be a new version with vocals following on from this. A Soundroom Production.
It's a dance track updating an old song. There's already more guitar added. The vocal was started mid-May 09 but it's not all finished.
