Pete Fletcher has been playing guitar for a lot of years. Starting in the early sixties playing rock and roll, he quickly came to the conclusion that there was more to music than playing three chords, checking out lots women and earning no money, so a quick exit stage left was the order of the day. He very quickly realised that the most important thing in all of this was the INTEGRITY OF THE MUSIC....and it's been a never ending journey ever since. Pete's played with small three and four piece groups to 18 piece big bands. Last year he started an independent record label "Sub-Urban Collective" and the first album release was "The Dreaming City" launched at the 2007 Glasgow International Jazz Festival and featuring Raymond MacDonald & Aoife Mannix, Malcolm Lindsay, Una McGlone, Julio Virella, Emma Roche, Aileen Campbell, Michael Deans & Steven Hawkes, Stuart Gorman. Available from CD Baby, iTunes and all the major download sites or check out our website www.sub-urbancollective.co.uk Pete is currenly working on several projects writing, collaborating, rehearsing and giging. His latest project is a new album "Last Man Standing" and is due for completion late August possible launch in September 2008.
