Band/artist history
I started playing nylon acoustic guitar at 11, tried to play bass for a while, but switched to electric guitar at 16, playing mainly hard rock guitar.
At 22 I joined hard rock christian band, which I toured several cities in Brazil with.
About 3 years ago, now living in Dallas, TX, I gradually became interested in Jazz and Bossa Nova, which I started to study more seriuosly.
Recently I became interested in nylon stringed guitars, now messing around with Choro and some Classical, besides Bossa Nova and Jazz.Your musical influences
Now that's dificult due to the broad range of styles I was involved with during the course of my musical life. But I'd say that my influences, in chronological order, come from Yngwie Malmsteen, Andrés Segovia, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Al DiMeola, Andy Summers, George Benson, Joe Pass, João Gilberto, Paulinho Nogueira, Baden Powell, and many others...What equipment do you use?
