Paul's career has stretched from mowing lawns to international business consulting, but his primary focus has always been music and the media.
Paul showed an early interest in audio production as a child of the 1960's, layering recordings by using two cheap cassette tape recorders. As a professional sound tech in the 1970's, he mixed live New York area performances of local bands and venues including Beatlemania and guitarist Al Di Meola. Paul toured with rock bands as a guitarist and vocalist through the mid 1980s, frequently opening for national acts including The Joe Perry Project, Blackfoot, and Twisted Sister. All along, he also worked regularly as a studio player, audio/video tech, and engineer or music composer for audio, video and cable television projects.
Paul later worked on the air as a radio announcer even before he graduated from broadcasting school. Over the next few years, he worked in audio and video recording studios, frequently performed as a mobile DJ, opened an entertainment firm and established an audio studio that specialized in audio for video projects.
Paul formed Studio 415 in 1995 and named it after his Jersey City home address, a place where members of his family had resided for nearly a century. The studio facility has since moved to North Carolina. Artists and performers who work with him consider him a friend as well as a respected musician and producer.Contact
