You're Just Another Walking Corpse You're Just Another Walking Corpse

I wrote this song on buses and at work last summer. It's weird writing a vocal piece first and music afterwards.

It's a creepy song I wrote for my songwriting class.

Avant Rock

I'm a songwriter born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. I play bass for my band, This Machine Kills Fascists. My music is pretty much the most important thing in my life.
Band/artist history
Well, I was born. I grew up in a pretty normal household. My dad owned a couple of guitars from his younger years when he was in a band, and I started messing around on them when I was about 12. I never really liked learning other peoples' songs so I would just write my own music mostly. I'm mostly self taught. When I was 15 I got my first bass, and at 16 I was shoved onto drums in my high school jazz band. Around the same time I joined my first band as a guitarist (and subsequently moved to bass), and then I really got into music. Well, enough to want to take it in college.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not currently. Sadly.
Your musical influences
I'm into pretty much anything from dixieland jazz to melodic death metal. and most things in-between.
What equipment do you use?
nothing exclusively.
Anything else?
I'm probably not as cold and inhuman as i seem from these questions.
