Not a band, just a songwriter with a lot of creativity and determination.
Born 1979. Started writing tunes 1979. First tune went: "Whaaaaaahhhh!!!"
I'm not much a performance musician but a pure songwriter. I'm on the lookout for performers who are looking for songs, or at least good middleman who can market my songs to artists.
Obviously the big influence is U2, but also singer-songwriters like Richard Ashcroft, Eliott Smith, Michael Penn, Ron Sexsmith, and Nick Cave. I like songs that soar and sound big; simple melodies and universal lyrical themes. I love big explosive endings to songs.
Just the bare bones: 1 acoustic guitar, 1 electric guitar, 1 microphone, and some very cheap recording software. Otherwise, it's all just a lot of tweaking and a lot of patience.
