Osayimwese Nadir Karume began performing spoken word professionally in 1991 as part of the National Black Arts Touring Company. His fist book " Reflections of a Black Mans Mind" Poetic Ventures (1993) is his fist poetry chapbook released under NBAT and re-released in it's second printing under his own publishing company "Poetic Ventures Publishing." Osayimwese has toured at over 1500 venues and performed on many radio/television interviews. He released his first CD "Revolutionary Thoughts" in 1998 and released his sophmore CD "Speak EZ N2 The Blu" in 2007. Both CD's were well recieved and sold well digitally and commercially. He is currently working on new projects to continue his legacy in the spoken Word/ Poetry Cmmunity.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I play live and will be live in April at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Robins Book Store in Philadelphia at the 100 poets event.
