Progressive Rock

Ore Machine is a rock band with a love of electronic music. Some of our songs are more electronic than most but more often than not our songs are guitar based. We mix live drums with electronic drums and in our recordings can have several overlapping drum tracks.

Sometimes we use Synth Bass if the song calls for it but we usually use electric bass. On the more electronic songs we use a Yamaha An1x Synth and program sounds and sequences on the An1x Editor Workstation which is the only one in existence, as far as I know, considering I built it.

Band/artist history

Ore Machine began with Ore, made up of Josh, Lee, and myself (Ryan) in 2000. We added Chris for a live performance and decided to keep him in the band. Drew came on board a short while after. Due to internal conflicts Josh was removed from the band. Sheena joined. Conflict again arose and Lee and Sheena were removed. Drew is currently working on other projects.

Chris and I survive under the new name Ore Machine. After two years dedicated to live performance, member changes and internal problems, we have decided, after a few failed attempts, not to find replacements for the lost members. Instead we have begun work on a new album co written by Chris and myself. We are also currently working on sound development and scores for video games.

Although we use technology and experimentation to create music, our music is more guitar driven. Using electric guitar, synth, drums, bass, effects, samplers and anything else we can get our hands on, we make music that we like and don't get sick of listening to. As long as we like it, we will keep making it.

Our official web site is currently under construction so, be patent . Jack Average Records is building our flash site and should have it up soon.

We are associated with Jack Average Records through Aaron Schaut of Dynaflo. Aaron and I formed the band Allurements of Pleasure in 1997 and are still good friends. Plans for a Dynaflo/Ore Machine US tour are being discussed for summer of 2005.
