Initially a bass guitar player, being bored from not having a band, I thought it would be fun to mess with fruityloops. Once I got started, it was just for fun, beats were shit, but still fun. After a while, I kinda got addicted to it and saw a slow progression towards something that sounded not so bad. So thats how it started. Now I do mostly sampling of favorite rock songs, along with compositions.Band/artist history
Not your typical hip-hop producer (if you can call me that). Born in Bangladesh, raised in a musical family. Grew up on Indian music. Discovered the joy of heavy metal though an uncle. Only got into hip hop seriously in recent years thanks to a friend (word amir). And then the rest is history.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not really. Im a laptop nerd, but I am considering incorporatng live guitar or bass guitar with the beats, being a bassist and whatnot, I like being on stage. Plus the girls can see me this wayhehe
Your musical influences
My mom for sure. Cant forget my heavy metal background. Lot of my samples are form rock songs. I love classical Indian music, jazz, and of course R&B and hip hop. Love the works of kanye west as far has hip hop producers go. HUGE pink Floyd fan, and I think every one should listen to them. So yeah its a mixture of loud ass heavy metal, melodic Indian music and everything else on the side.What equipment do you use?
