***ONE WAY CHARLIE IS NOW ALABASTER BROWN, of ALABASTERBROWN.COM*** One Way Charlie is one of the premier Jam Bands from St Louis. The band consists of seasoned professional musicians, and the greatest gift to them, some truly great songs. Although the band is steeped in enigma, they have seen many glimpses of the world spotlight and continue to get nods from many big names in the business and OWC music has been finding its way onto the airwaves and hard-drives of the true fans of indie music, our biggest following.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play Occasionally as One Way Charlie or Microbus, although our stage show is rather involved, so we only can play certain arenas or major events. The next such event being June 19th in Lesterville MO.
Your musical influences
Our influences are far flung and involve aspects of americana, blues, folk and classical themes as they apply to our music. The more you know, the more you create, and all art is plagary.
Anything else?
Words are CHEAP, our songs do the talking and in this case THEY'RE CHEAPER THAN WORDS. Simply click and listen or download our songs for a limited time, and we don't ask for money, just to pass the word and vote, write or just keep us in mind.
Thanks for stopping by and keeping indie rock alive and just bubbline beneath the surface!
