Alternative Hip Hop

One Time Building off of the infectious grooves delivered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, and Sublime while combining with vocals under the tutelage of G.Love, Bradley Nowell (Sublime) and Method Man, One Time transcend their predecessor's works to a new dimension of alternative hybrid hip hop, touching on many other styles of music as well.
Band/artist history
One time has been captivating audiences throughout NY for the past three years and has established themselves as "one of the top five live bands to see in New York," says Stuart Bronze, club promoter for Joe's Pub and Lot 61. A former mainstay at Manhattan's Wetlands and the Elbow Room, One Time has progressed to performing before packed audiences at CBGB's in 2003. In late 2002, The band signed on with Mike Ciro of Cirocutis Productions, to produce their current recordings. Lead singer Craig Coakley's intimate tales of woe and inspirational messages for those teetering on their own sanity, can be best heard on original tracks entitled "Taking it Back," "Dear Emily" and "Last Will and Testament." The band also touches on the less serious side of things, with crowd pleasers, "Blaugh" and "Ten Cents short of a Bagel," demonstrating their every day life in Queens. With a taste of the high life, having opened for Multi-Platinum artists Three Doors Down and Lil' Kim, One Time is set for a return to the big stage!
