My name is CJ. I first started my music career in my senior year at Santa Teresa High School in Musical Theatre. At first, when I tried out for Musical Theatre it was a joke and a bet from my friends, but I followed through with it and throughout my senior year I began to enjoy singing. I recieved the most improved in voice award at the end of my senior year and from that day on I decided to dedicate my life to music. I made a promise to my teacher Mr. De Rose that I would follow through with music. Because it was him that influenced me and made me have the passion for music. I remember he would always say, "Always pay your dues." Pay your dues to music that you have to own up to. And I hope I will pay all my dues and make it in this World of Music.Band/artist history
At age 16: I started playing guitar and took a guitar class with Mr. De Rose
At age 17: I began to sing and was enrolled in Musical Theatre my Senior Year in 2008 taught by a teacher named Mr Derose. I was in Two plays: Anything Goes and Tommy.
At age 18: I was a music major in voice and was enrolled at West Valley College. I Sang for two choirs: Chamber Singers and Masterworks. I performed Five times as a Baratone in both Choirs.
Age 19: Currently enrolled at Mission College doing as many songs and writing as much music as I can.Have you performed in front of an audience?Hopefully in the future. But I have Once, It was my Senior Year at the end of the year. I got up on stage and sang to a girl for Senior Ball. It was the most nervous breaking moment in my life. I took a deep breathe and began to announce to the crowd during lunch of what i was doing and called the girl to the stage. I first said, "If anybody wants to see a guy sing and fall on your ass be here." The girl came to the stage and I began to sing. I was accompained by two other guitarist and we played. The music and lyrics I wrote from the bottom of my heart. And then when the crowd went to silence, I asked her the question, "Will you go to Senior Ball with me?" She said yes!. It was the most amazing experience I had in my life as my first step as a Musician.

Currently I'm just using a Microphone and Music software, but hopefully in the future I will have the abilitiy to record in a studio and be recorded with the best software Pro Tools.Anything else?
