One More Riot
Upbeat, vigorous, melodic, One More Riot, charasmatic, energetic(not fit) and PUNK!
Kind of an upbeat song, one of our new ones...which we recorded in 2003. Have fun, kinda a sad song with a happy ending!

Well we are one of the few long-running Cape Town punk bands...weve been around for more than 2years and gig constantly. we personally prefer charity gigs as there is no liability concerning monetary crap. Also also up to cause and have shit.
Well firstly the band originated with myself Jonathan and the
vocalist Donovan. I got convinced 2 pick-up my father's
screwed-up guitar and started learning how
2 play it! One day Donovan came 2 visit (he was a vocalist
from a previous band) and then he just started singing with
my meager attempts at playing guitar. We originally had a
good friend of ours Kevin playing bass for us but due 2
complications we had 2 say good-bye to him.
Later Dean decided 2 join the band, he wished to be our
drummer although he originally is a bassist and we suggested he opt for the latter as we
had 2 get rid of Kevin. Then we had another "friend" David who said he would play drums for
us but as he was getting grounded every weekend and failed 2 show-up for the first practise
where we met Allan. We went 2 allan's house 2 practice but it was only Dean, Donovan and I
who were there, Allan was in a metal band at that stage (except he was playing lead-guitar)
He decided to jam on the kit whilst we were practicing on his equipment, which we had
to buy him a bottle brandy to use. Later we decided that it rocked and we asked him 2
join the band, besides it would've worked out cheaper! We performed many gigs and
recorded our first demo entitled "Learning to Swallow" and then we all realised that
we needed more than just us so we incorporated a tiny little raver into our group
his name is Peter-Andrew. He was with us recently when we recorded our second E.P.
which still remains untitled! Since then we have been growing and evolving into
the best that we possibly can be
Hell Yeah we play live, nothing more exhilarating than playing in front of a live audience. We mostly play at the Purple Turtle, Whammy Bar, Hidden Cellar and School Gigs to name a few.
Millencolin, Blink 182, Pennywise, NoFX, Less Than Jake, Catch 22, Goldfinger, Metallica, The Offspring, Lagwagon and so forth
